Dazaifu Tenmangu

The head shrine of appx. 12,000 shrines all over Japan that enshrine Tenjinsama (Sugawarano Michizane), who is known as the god of education/sincerity/good luck. It was visited by over 7 million worshippers from Japan and abroad combined.

Takachiho Gorge
