Greetings! This is Shimada from the Kagoshima Airport Store!
Today I want to highlight a prime location in the neighboring Miyazaki area.
The place? "Aoshima!!"
It’s precisely the place everyone thinks of as the tourist attraction of Miyazaki.

Speaking of Aoshima, we can’t forget about “Oni-no-Sentakuita (ogre’s washboard)!”
The rock surfaces have beautiful wave patterns that some would doubt it was naturally formed.

Moving deeper into the island we will come across Aoshima shrine.

After I prayed for matchmaking at Aoshima shrine, I found an entrance path to my side that was covered in trees.

The path led to the main shrine and was an area with a lot of mysterious power.
It’s one of my favorite places to go.
So if any of you are ever going to Miyazaki, please go visit!
