Hello and good greetings!! This is Fujino from the Gion store.
Nagasaki prefecture is experiencing a boom right now. So the other day I went ahead and visited it!
Mt. Inasa seems to be what everyone thinks about when they hear Nagasaki.
But that’s not all, there’s more!!!
Battleship Island, Dejima Island, Kujūku Islands, Iōjima Island, Gotō Islands...
Yes! Right now in Nagasaki, “islands” are now a THING!
That’s why I went to Iōjima Island this time!!
Previously there were no bridges and the only way there was by ferry.
But after the Iōjima Ohashi Bridge was built in 2011, the island could now be easily accessed by car.
Also a facility called the “ISLAND LUMINA” was built for both children and adults to fully enjoy the island.

Since this was only a one-day trip, I decided to dine at the “Japanese Restaurant Uraraka” before heading home.
